Title:Quality Control Inspector Location:Memphis Area (Onsite)
Compensation:$30$35 per hour Schedule:MondayFriday, approximately
6:00 AM 4:30 PM (4550 hours/week) Relocation Package Available
About the Opportunity: An established and growing construction and
metal fabrication firm is seeking aQuality Control Inspectorwith a
strong background in structural steel. This is a hands-on,
boots-on-the-ground role best suited for candidates who enjoy
detailed inspections, working closely with production teams, and
maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety. Key
Responsibilities: Inspect fabricated steel components to ensure
they meet project specifications and quality standards Interpret
and review blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications Conduct
material and weld inspections using non-destructive testing methods
Accurately document inspection results and maintain compliance
records Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to
identify and resolve quality issues Ensure adherence to safety
regulations and AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction)
standards Required Qualifications: ActiveCertified Welding
Inspector (CWI)certification Solid understanding ofstructural
steelfabrication and assembly Proficiency inMIG and TIGwelding
inspection Experience reading and interpreting technical blueprints
and specifications Strong communication skills and meticulous
attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in
theconstruction or structural steelindustry Familiarity withAISC
standardsand industry best practices What Were Looking For:
