This position is a direct hire opportunity on 1st shift (7-330pm)

Description We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join
our team, responsible for troubleshooting process and production
equipment. The role involves leading the troubleshooting of
electrical and automation issues and providing training on
electrical/automation systems throughout the plant. The position
operates on a weekday schedule from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities Lead troubleshooting for higher-level
electrical/automation issues during the assigned shift. Train
personnel on electrical/automation systems and support the plant's
Lockout/Tagout program. Install, maintain, repair, or replace
control devices such as HMIs, VFDs, and PLC components. Comply with
regulatory and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
Monitor significant plant downtime events and initiate
problem-solving activities. Support the implementation and
improvement of preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
Coordinate and supervise equipment installation associated with
facility needs. Procure replacement and upgrade hardware as needed.
Perform maintenance, repair, or rebuild/calibration of electrical
control components to support production. Communicate issues and
potential changes with the Controls Engineer. Evaluate electrical
equipment operation and suggest necessary actions for improvements
or malfunctions. Monitor plant utilities, including chillers, air
compressors, security, and fire protection systems. Complete
process and preventive maintenance work orders and communicate
associated data. Maintain plant electrical control systems on
equipment such as mixers, conveyors, and compressors. Troubleshoot
and repair failures of production and facilities equipment. Install
and monitor current monitoring systems. Enhance hardware and
software knowledge for effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with
mechanical and electrical maintenance technicians to develop their
control skills. Execute projects as needed and assist with
preventive maintenance and breakdowns. Essential Skills 5 years of
maintenance experience. 3 years of controls experience. Knowledge
of PLC language (ladder logic, structured text, sequential function
charts). Proficient in working with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, level
controls, AC/DC drives, and VFD. Industrial electrical AC/DC
troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of CMMS, SAP, and MS programs.
Ability to utilize electrical instruments in troubleshooting
control systems. Awareness of electrical codes such as NEMA.
Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to
produce and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Knowledge
of safe working practices around moving and electrical equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Inter-personal skills and the
ability to be a team player. Capability to train others and pass on
information. Critical thinking, troubleshooting, and
problem-solving abilities. Understanding of OSHA and industrial

Environment This position operates within a manufacturing
environment, with exposure to loud machinery, fumes, odors, and
dust. The work includes exposure to ambient/outdoor temperatures,
nuisance dust, chemicals, mechanical parts, and industrial noise.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of
Senatobia, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is
$77168.00 - $83969.00/yr. will update with benefit information
