We are seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to spearhead our commitment to excellence. As the Quality Manager, you will have the vital responsibility of overseeing Product/Supplier Quality, ensuring that the highest standards are consistently met. Beyond that, your domain will encompass all quality-centric activities. A significant aspect of your role will be the development, establishment, and diligent implementation of in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications. POSITION SUMMARY The individual in this role is responsible for overseeing Product\Supplier Quality along with all quality related activities. This includes establishing and implementing in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications. This position is located in Southaven, MS, and relocation assistance is offered for qualified candidates seeking to contribute their expertise to our dynamic team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Record, analyze and distribute statistical information (i.e. warranty rates on products/suppliers) Development of analytical tools for monitoring quality business aspects Analysis of periodic reports to determine trends and point out possible problems Development of different levels reports to present current status Providing interdepartmental/intercompany technical support Providing Technical drawings with explanation of specific product features Providing PPAP documentation for customer product validations Supplier drawing approvals Customer communication in reference to product quality Direct quality incidents investigations Direct and design testing procedure to determine failure modes Analysis of test results in conjunction with statistical data of warranty returns Determine product disposition in case of validated nonconformance Cost and Risk Analysis Analysis of historical data in reference to the same product or failure mode Cost recovery supplier communication Evaluate and approve implementation of required corrective actions Specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers Guiding suppliers in proper selections of manufacturing process Demanding compliance to proper manufacturing standards Ensure product complies to standards at both national and international level Providing Quality Compliance Certificates Providing Environmental Compliance Certificates Supporting product validation process Determine product critical characteristics requiring evaluation in product validation process Determine product testing methodology and interoperation test results Providing approvals or rejections in questionable cases Supplier drawing approvals Providing "pass thru" approvals when justified Writing management and technical reports Provide customers with quality related technical communication Providing customers with testing reports with explanation of product performance when requested Answering to customer technical concerns related to product features, performance or quality Providing customers with corrective action taken to rectify quality issues Selects, orients, trains, coaches, counsels, and disciplines associates in coordination with the Human Resources Department. Promote a collaborative work environment, encouraging effective communication and cross-training initiatives to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill development. Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management. QUALIFICATIONS ( Education, Experience, & Skills required) Post Graduate qualification in Engineering or technical background required 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. Advance skill set needed in Excel. Demonstrates the ability to design workflows and procedures, generate innovative solutions, identify and resolve issues promptly, and coordinate projects effectively. Displays proficiency in project management and coordination. Exhibits professional experience working collaboratively in a team environment. Shows the capacity to generate creative solutions. Demonstrates skill in writing routine reports and correspondence. Possesses effective verbal communication skills, with the ability to address groups of customers or employees in an organization. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in work. Displays diligence in completing tasks in a timely manner, utilizing effective time management skills. Requires strong leadership abilities, both in managing direct reports and leading others.
