Job Description:

Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 2 years required. License: Active RN license
in the state or compact license required. Certifications: BLS
certification preferred. Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience
required. Travel experience required. Experience in a large
hospital preferred. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide
care in a Medical Surgical setting. The nurse will work a day shift
of 12 hours. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of
experience in a Medical Surgical unit. First-time travelers are not
accepted unless they have 3 years of recent experience. The nurse
will work with a patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7. Availability for
weekends is required as needed. All RTO must be included at the
time of submission. Travelers must be willing to work two out of
three major holidays during the assignment. All candidates must
meet strict eligibility requirements before being considered. Local
candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility. All
travelers must comply with NLC guidelines. Cerner experience is
preferred.
