Pay Information $2,131 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 2 years required, 3 years preferred License: Active RN license in the state or compact license Certifications: Chemo certification is a plus, but not required Must-Have: Med Surg experience, one year of travel experience required Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical Surgical. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience, with preference for three or more years. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6. New travelers are not accepted unless they have three or more years of recent experience. On-call availability is required as needed. Weekend shifts may be required as needed. Block scheduling accommodations are not available, but weekend block requests may be considered. Local candidates, defined as those residing within a 100-mile radius, will not be accepted. Pending licenses are not accepted; all travelers must comply with NLC guidelines. All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission. No RTO will be considered after an offer has been made. Travelers must comply with holiday schedules, agreeing to work two out of three holidays if they fall during the assignment. Travelers can be floated between like units, but floating between campuses is rare. All RNs must have a minimum of two years of experience across all specialties. Cerner experience is preferred.
