Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neuro ICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU (Night Shift) Facility: Methodist University Hospital 1265 Union Ave, Memphis, TN 38104 Job Type: Travel Assignment – 13 Weeks Start Dates Available: - July 14, 2025 - July 28, 2025 - August 11, 2025 Shift Schedule: Night Shift – 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Job Description: Methodist University Hospital is currently seeking experienced and qualified Registered Nurses for its Neuro Critical Care Unit (Neuro ICU). Nurses will be working with a high-acuity patient population, primarily focused on complex neurological conditions requiring intensive monitoring and care. Required Qualifications: - Experience: - Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro ICU experience with prior travel experience - OR 3 years of Neuro ICU experience without travel experience - License: - Must hold an active RN license in TN or compact state license - No pending licenses accepted - Certifications: - BLS, ACLS (Others as required per facility standards) - Travel Experience: - At least 1 completed previous travel assignment is required - Education: - ADN acceptable; BSN required only for Le Bonheur, Centralized Staffing, and Rheumatology units Preferred Qualifications: - Cerner EMR experience - Large hospital/Level I trauma center background - Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and rapid response skills Work Conditions: - Unit: Neuro Critical Care Unit (Neuro ICU) - Patient Population: Adults with neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, seizures, brain injuries) - On-Call: As needed - Weekends: Required as needed - Block Scheduling: Not available (Weekend block may be considered upon request) - Floating: May float to like units or campuses within 20 miles (rare) Hospital Overview: - Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care - Designation: Level I Trauma Center - System: Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare System About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
