Job Description:
Responsibilities for Mental Health Tech: Assist clinical team in
the general activities of the program. Orient new individuals into
the program by reviewing the schedule and ensuring their needs are
met, when appropriate Provide direct care and supervision to
individuals receiving services. Facilitate recreational activities,
including board games, movies, cards, etc. Help ensure a safe
living environment for all residents, to include cleaning and other
housekeeping duties as requested. Assist with management of
unstructured time. Help enforce program schedule and program rules.
Maintain accurate and up to date records on assigned individuals,
such as behavior reports. Supervise and assist residents with daily
living skills as needed. Wash linens and fill all hygiene boxes.
Ensure orientation packets are available for all new individuals
coming in for treatment. Assist staff in the admission process Fill
in for other staff as needed and assigned by the Coordinator. Man
facility phone service and handle referral of all emergency calls
to appropriate Communicare crisis staff. Provide administrative
assistance when requested such as scanning documents and filing
them into the chart in the EHR, making copies, etc. Perform other
duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or
equivalent. Good oral and written communication skills. Acceptable
