Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience,
travel experience, large hospital experience Description: Looking
for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical. The nurse
will float to Emergency Department Overflow as needed. Team nursing
is utilized with patient ratios assigned to the team of LPNs, RNs,
Nurse Techs, and Resource Nurse. Weekend work is required as
needed. Block scheduling accommodations are not available, but
weekend blocks may be considered. Travelers must reside more than
100 miles from the facility. All required RTO must be submitted at
the time of application. Candidates must meet all requirements
before application submission. Previous charge experience is
preferred. Candidates will care for surgical oncology patients with
medical oncology overflow and medical-surgical overflow. Patient
diagnosis includes those with central lines, drains, ostomies, and
Foleys. Candidates should have experience with PCA pumps and
chemotherapy administration for ONS nurses only. Limited phlebotomy
coverage is available at night. Candidates should be prepared to
work during end-of-year holidays. Travelers can be floated between
similar units and campuses within 20 miles. All candidates must
have at least one completed travel assignment. Cerner experience is
preferred. Vaccination status should be clearly listed. Local
travelers must meet the requirement of living at least 100 miles
