Job Description:

CommuniCare Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Crisis Stabilization Unit team on weekends. Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers focus on providing exceptional healthcare and personalized rehabilitation therapies, aimed at enhancing the overall well-being and quality of life of our patients. In this role, the RN will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. This position requires a committed individual who can operate in high-pressure environments and deliver acute patient care with empathy and proficiency. Assess, plan, and implement comprehensive patient care under time-sensitive conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient care. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions. Act as a patient advocate and ensure the highest quality of care. Maintain accurate health care records and report any discrepancies. Educate patients and families on management of illnesses and injury prevention. Critical thinking Strong clinical skills in a crisis intervention setting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in using healthcare software and systems Ability to handle high-stress situations and make decisions under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license CPR/BLS certification ACLS preferred
