Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech Job Details: • Work 10-hour shifts • Provide timely imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients • Work under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols • Change imaging parameters to study soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities • Perform imaging with or without the use of contrast media • X-ray and/or CT training and certification preferred • Cross-training opportunities may be available based on department needs and qualifications • Graduate of an accredited AMA school preferred • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration preferred • Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT preferred • State License as a general radiographer required Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services to the community with a focus on advanced imaging capabilities.
