Forrest City Medical Center is a118 bed Acute Care facility located 40 minutes west of Memphis, TN and less than 90 miles for Little Rock, AR. Position Details: Shift - Full Time Days Hours - 36 per week, 12 hour shifts $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for New Hire with an 18-Month Commitment Will float to Med/Surg as needed Job Summary: Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas. Requires an associate degree and is certified as a registered nurse Prefer bachelor’s degree in nursing. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. BLS certification. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
