Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work in medical surgical telemetry unit serving as overflow unit for post-surgical and observation patients • Patient ratio of 1:5-6 during days, nights, and weekends • Unit transitioning to team nursing model with LPN support • Care for adult and geriatric patients in 42-bed unit with daily census of 42 • Patient diagnoses include medical oncology, GYN surgery, and general med-surg • On-call and weekend coverage as needed • Floating may be required between like units and campuses within 20 miles • 2 years recent medical surgical experience required (3 years preferred) • One year of travel experience required • Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS • Skills required: Telemetry monitoring and IV start • Cerner charting system experience preferred • Must work 2 of 3 major holidays if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall during assignment • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions • Must live at least 100 miles from facility • All requested time off must be included at time of submission Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical surgical telemetry unit with interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.
