A school-based occupational therapist opportunity is available in Hernando, MS, providing contract-based therapy services within an educational setting. This role focuses on delivering specialized occupational therapy to support students developmental, sensory, and functional needs, enhancing their ability to participate fully in school activities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct evaluations and assessments of students occupational therapy needs. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success. - Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. - Provide consultation and training to staff and caregivers to promote therapeutic strategies. - Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team approach.
