active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is
available in Hernando, MS, seeking a skilled physical therapist to
support school-based therapy services. This role involves providing
therapeutic interventions and support to students to enhance their
physical functioning and participation in educational activities.
Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments and develop individualized
treatment plans for students with physical therapy needs -
Implement evidence-based interventions to address mobility,
strength, coordination, and other physical challenges - Collaborate
with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support
student progress - Maintain accurate documentation and comply with
school policies and state regulations - Participate in professional
development and training opportunities as needed Qualifications and
Experience: - Valid physical therapy licensure in the state of
Mississippi - Experience working with pediatric populations,
preferably in school or educational settings - Strong communication
and teamwork skills to engage effectively with students and staff -
Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
