Job Description:
Overview and Responsibilities • Assists with administering the
Medical Radiography program rules, regulations, and policies in
compliance with current Joint Review Committee on Education in
Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Standards. • Assesses clinical
competency of Medical Radiography students • Assists Clinical
Coordinator with student clinical education record keeping •
Cooperates with the program faculty in periodic review/assessment,
and revision of clinical course materials as needed • Demonstrates
knowledge of clinical education content for bachelor’s degree
medical radiography program • Acts as a liaison between the
clinical education sites and the program maintaining open lines of
communication with the imaging department leaders, communities of
interest, and program director Under the administrative direction
of the Academic Dean and/or general direction of the Program Chair
and Clinical Coordinator Minimum Qualifications (Instructor,
Masters or Masters Pending) • Baccalaureate degree with a
concentration in Medical Radiography • American Registry of
Radiologic Technology(ARRT) credentialed in Radiologic Technology •
2 years clinical practicum/practice experience in the clinical area
as relevant to clinical application of curricular content Desired
Qualifications • Master's degree from an accredited institution in
related discipline or appropriate discipline for college
teaching/administration • Ideal candidate will have at least one
additional post-primary certification, preferably Computed
Tomography (CT) or Magnetic Resonance (MR)
