Acute Care Surgery opening in Tennessee Located in Jackson, TN - 88 miles from Memphis Full time, permanent opening Hospital-employed Joining a team of 3 ACS Surgeons and 6 APPs 7 on/7 off; 12 hour shifts Opportunity for mentorship and robotic training Access to 3 Da Vinci Xi Not a trauma center/low level single system trauma is kept in house Major regional transfer center with subspecialty support (IR, GI, etc.) ACS does not cover vascular cases Experience with ACS/EGS/Trauma highly preferred Highly competitive salary and benefit package including sign on bonus, up to $90,000 in medical loan payment over three years, and relocation available The Hospital: 642 bed Tertiary Care 400 Physicians on active staff 100,000 ER visits per year 92 Critical Care beds One of the nation's top 100 Cardiovascular hospitals Cerner with plans for EPIC EMR 550,000 people in a 20 county service area The Community: Friendly community of more than 100,000 people Low cost of living No state income tax Local attractions: Symphony Orchestra, Cultural Arts, Athletic Clubs, Professional Sports, Camping, Hunting, Great Parks, Fishing, Golf Convenient access to Memphis and Nashville
