Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing compassionate, patient-centered care in our post-acute rehabilitation facilities. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients within a rehabilitative care setting Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care Maintain accurate patient medical records via our proprietary electronic health record system Provide basic patient care or treatments, such as dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving injections, catheterization, etc. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to work within a team environment Capability to handle stressful situations Proficient in clinical skills with an emphasis on patient care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN license valid in the state of employment CPR certification required
