nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit. Assess,
plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the
multi-disciplinary team. Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Document
nursing care and patient status in accordance with the healthcare
facility’s requirements. Educate patients and families on health
care needs, conditions, and options. Ensure a safe, comfortable,
and therapeutic environment for patients and staff members.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices and standards.
Strong clinical skills in a medical-surgical setting. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively
in high-pressure situations. Proficient in using healthcare
software and systems. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Tennessee. BLS Certified.
