be considered. Deliver expert nursing care in the Operating Room
with a focus on general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology,
gynecology, vascular, and pain management procedures. This contract
opportunity is based in La Grange, KY, offering day shifts with a
schedule that typically includes 36-40 guaranteed hours per week
and occasional on-call responsibilities during weekends or
weekdays. The environment supports teamwork and a patient-focused
approach. Location Overview: This position is located near La
Grange, KY, within a well-established surgical unit. The area is
known for its small-town charm and proximity to major urban
centers, offering a balance of community living and accessible city
amenities. Key Responsibilities: Provide perioperative nursing care
to patients undergoing outpatient and inpatient surgical
procedures. Collaborate with surgical teams during
orthopedic/spine, general surgery, ENT, urology, gynecology,
vascular, and pain procedures. Maintain patient safety and proper
use of surgical equipment in compliance with hospital protocols.
Document care accurately using the Cerner electronic medical record
system. Float only to other surgical service departments as
necessary. Adhere strictly to surgical dress code requirements and
facility policies. Qualifications & Experience: Registered Nurse
(RN) with a current license. Minimum of 3 years of OR nursing
experience, ideally with orthopedic/spine cases. Ability to work
well within a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with surgical
equipment and operating room protocols. Preferred certifications
related to surgical nursing or perioperative care. Shift &
Schedule: Day shift hours (rare opportunity for night shifts).
Weekend on-call 2 out of every 24 weekends or one week of weekday
night call from 5pm to 7am. Scheduled for 36-40 hours per week,
primarily day shifts. This contract role offers a unique chance to
