The Opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a Food and Beverage Supervisor at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will ensure the highest levels of service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and associates.
• Assist managers in training and development of the team and conducting associate-counseling sessions including verbal and written corrective action reports.
• Assist managers with staffing levels in accordance with established budgetary goals and business volume.
• Inspect by walking through your assigned area to monitor staff and to monitor guest needs.
• Lead associates in the daily performance of their duties.
• Ensure work area is adequately stocked with all products and supplies needed for service.
• Collaborate with managers concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention.
• Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospitality role.
  • Minimum of 1 year related supervisory experience required.
  • Superior organization and guest service abilities required.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages.
  • Basic computer skills including word-processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail required.
  • Demonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to maintain the guest's experience. Physical Requirements
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand. Who We Are
