The Registered Nurse (MedSurg/Telemetry) is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to adult patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions. This position involves continuous telemetry monitoring, patient education, coordination with interdisciplinary teams, and adherence to high clinical standards. Requirements: Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care based on individualized needs and care plans. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient condition. Interpret and respond to telemetry readings and initiate appropriate interventions. Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and communications accurately and timely. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions. Support infection control, fall prevention, and other hospital-wide safety initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). Licensure: Current Mississippi RN Licensure or Compact Licensure in good standing. Certifications: BLS and ACLS are required. Experience: One year of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply!
